StartupIndi ("we", "us") operates https://www.startupindi.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we need to operate the site.

1. What we collect

Analytics data (with your consent). If you click "Accept" on the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to record anonymous, aggregated usage — pages viewed, referrer, device type, approximate country/region, and time on page. IP addresses are anonymised. We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, or any data that identifies you personally.

Advertising (planned). We plan to use Google AdSense to serve display ads. AdSense may set cookies to personalise ads based on your prior browsing. You can opt out at adssettings.google.com. If you reject cookies on our banner, AdSense will not load.

Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs — IP, user agent, requested URL, response code — for security and debugging. These are retained for a short period and not linked to any personal identity.

The Finder. The 4-question finder runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us, not stored, and not associated with you.

2. What we do not collect

We do not require accounts. We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, PAN, Aadhaar, or any application data. We do not sell, share, or rent data to third parties (other than the analytics and ad providers named above, acting as our processors).

3. Cookies

We use first-party cookies / local storage only to remember your cookie-consent choice. Third-party cookies (Google Analytics, Google AdSense) load only after you click "Accept". You can change your mind at any time by clearing site data in your browser.

4. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the EU GDPR (if applicable to you), you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because we do not collect personal identifiers, there is usually nothing to access — but you can always reject analytics and ad cookies on our banner.

5. Children

StartupIndi is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

6. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
